Information stored on your device

The app may store family profile names and colors, recognized text, event drafts, local parsing rules, Calendar event identifiers, and original images or PDFs you choose to import.

This information stays in the app's local container unless you export it or share it through iOS.

On-device processing

Text recognition uses Apple Vision. Date, time, location, change, and duplicate detection use local rules.

SchoolSync: Notice to Calendar does not upload your documents for OCR or AI analysis.

Apple Calendar

With your permission, SchoolSync uses EventKit to read and modify Calendar events needed for confirmed additions, updates, cancellations, duplicate detection, and profile-to-calendar mapping.

Apple manages your Calendar accounts and credentials; SchoolSync cannot see those credentials.

Purchases and data collected by our processor

When you view, buy, or restore SchoolSync Pro, Apple and RevenueCat collect and process purchase history, including transaction identifiers, product and entitlement status, purchase dates, and renewal or expiration status.

SchoolSync uses RevenueCat's anonymous app user identifier and does not attach a name, email address, advertising identifier, notice, OCR text, family profile, or calendar content to that purchase record.

Purchase history is used for app functionality, receipt validation and fraud prevention, and aggregate purchase analytics; it is not used for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.

Analytics and advertising

SchoolSync does not include third-party advertising and does not enable third-party usage analytics in version 1.0.

We do not track you across apps or websites.

Retention, choices, and deletion

Local app content is retained only on your device until you delete it with Nuclear Wipe or remove the app. Pro users can create a ZIP backup containing structured JSON and original notices, and you choose where that export goes.

Nuclear Wipe deletes SchoolSync's local profiles, history, rules, and snapshots; it does not delete events already saved in Apple Calendar. You can revoke Calendar access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars.

Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records as required to provide purchases, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations under their respective policies. To request deletion of data controlled by SchoolSync or to ask us to relay a request concerning the anonymous RevenueCat record, email hi@codemxm.com.

Third-party protection

SchoolSync shares purchase data only with Apple and RevenueCat for the purposes described above.

We require service providers that process user data for SchoolSync to provide the same or equivalent privacy and security protections stated in this policy and required by applicable law. Their policies are available at apple.com/legal/privacy and revenuecat.com/privacy.

Children's privacy

SchoolSync is a tool for parents and guardians, not a social service for children.

We do not knowingly collect children's personal information on a server because we do not collect app content on a server at all.
